Through our Scholarship Program, we are committed to fostering access to education and empowering individuals to grow and develop through learning. By providing financial assistance to deserving students, we aim to break down barriers to education. We continue to create opportunities for those who might otherwise face challenges in pursuing their academic goals.
LIM awards eight scholarships annually to graduating high school seniors. The eight scholarships are awarded based on academics, need, service, and leadership, separately. All applicants will be considered for each of the scholarships but can only be awarded one.
Applicants must be a graduating high school senior of good character who has demonstrated a penchant for leadership through extra-curricular activities.
The following scholarships are available:
Applicants must meet the following academic requirements: for the Academic scholarship, a minimum score of 1100 on the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT), renamed the SAT Reasoning Test, or 21 on the American College Test (ACT).
For the Scholarship of Need criteria, the counselor or sponsor must certify the applicant’s need with a detailed letter.
A 3.5-grade point average is required for all scholarship types.
All transcripts must be for the fall semester of the current school year. Applicants must be entering a degree program at an accredited college or university.
Applications must be submitted by the end of March 28, 2025.
LIM’s scholarship program is not just about financial aid; it’s about transforming lives. We award four scholarships annually, ranging from $1,000 to $2,500, to graduating high school seniors. These scholarships, based on academics, need, service, and leadership, have opened doors to educational and professional opportunities for our young scholars. LIM was developed from a deep rooted place within our founder Crystal Fleming with an understanding of knowing what others are going through and an 8 year old reconstructed heart to want to help more. She believes that she was CHOSEN to go through her own experiences so that she would be prepared when it became an opportunity to give back
