Our Health & Wellness Initiative is rooted in the belief that physical health, overall well-being, and community connection are deeply intertwined. Through innovative programs and intentional support, we empower individuals to take ownership of their health while building resilient communities grounded in vitality and balance.
One of our newest programs, Move with LIM, offers free community fitness sessions once a month. This program creates an accessible opportunity for movement, accountability, and encouragement. What started as motivation shared through WhatsApp has grown into a thriving fitness community now connected on Strava, where members can track progress, celebrate milestones, and inspire one another beyond our monthly meetup.
Throughout the years, our CEO has invested in others by providing access to personal training and encouraging participating in shared road races and walks. Participants shared that these opportunities were able to produce sustainable, life-changing results. Our approach goes beyond exercise, we focus on education around proper nutrition (including meal prep and planning), healthy sleep habits, and practical stress-relief techniques to support total wellness.
A cornerstone of this initiative is our annual The Beat Goes on Heart Luncheon, held each year on December 17th. This powerful gathering celebrates heart survivors while raising awareness about heart health through education, prevention resources, and community support. It is both a celebration of life and a call to action. This event reminds us that heart health matters for everyone.
Through every class, conversation, and community event, our mission remains the same: to equip individuals with the tools, knowledge, and support they need to live healthier, stronger, and more empowered lives.
