ANNUAL VETERAN'S THANKSGIVING
ANNUAL HOLIDAY GIFT BACK
Our Serving the Underserved Initiative is expressed through four intentional outreach programs designed to meet real needs.
Quarterly Service Saturdays (Atlanta, GA)
Each quarter, we serve individuals experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity in Atlanta. The 2025 PIT Count reported approximately 2,894 individuals experiencing homelessness, with many facing barriers to stable housing, employment, healthcare, and mental health support. During these outreach days, we provide hot meals, snacks, hygiene kits, clothing, and resource connections—while creating a safe space for encouragement, conversation, and hope.
Annual Veterans Thanksgiving Event
Our Veterans Thanksgiving outreach honors those who have served our country. Many veterans face challenges after service, including higher-than-average risks of homelessness, food insecurity, and mental health struggles. Through a dedicated Thanksgiving initiative in collaboration with Quest CDC, we provide meals, essential items, and community support as a tangible expression of gratitude and care.
Annual Holiday Gift Back
Our Annual Gift Back is a signature holiday outreach centered on bringing joy to families connected to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Each year, we collect the children’s Christmas wish lists and personally shop to ensure every child—and their siblings—experience the magic of the season. Families join us for a special celebration filled with lunch, laughter, and community, highlighted by a visit from Santa and a room filled with thoughtfully selected gifts and activities. For families navigating medical challenges and financial strain, this day is more than a holiday party—it’s a moment of relief, grace, and pure cheer.
Annual Guatemala Service Trip
Each year, we travel to Guatemala to build homes alongside From Houses to Homes. In Guatemala, nearly half the population lives below the poverty line, and many families reside in makeshift housing without safe flooring or structural security. By building safe, stable homes, we help provide not just shelter—but safety, stability, and opportunity for generations to come.
Together, these four programs impact hundreds of individuals and families each year. Beyond meeting tangible needs, we are committed to restoring hope, strengthening communities, and walking alongside those we serve with compassion and respect.
